Today, I just did one of the most heroic things in my life-that of rewarding an overworked soul with a very good movie and a very very comfortable company.

Now I didn’t know that Ate Wena and David were serious about the movie thingy-but lo and behold! haha we made our way to bliss and some good laugh while swimming into Wendy’s biggies. And they are so certified kolehiyala classic na talaga for serving the best iced tea in the world.

As to the movie, we watched.

It gave me the retro energy as it reminsiced its way back to all of Abba’s classic. Yes, some sort of a grown-up HSM made for our moms and dads. Or maybe a collection of all your aunt’s videoke songs. Haha.

Now here are a few revelations from the movie:

Lily Kane from Veronica Mars              

And Karen from Mean Girls

 Is Sophie(Amanda Seyfried) who I think was unbelievably jolly, and mabait in the movie. She also has that fairy taly voice that reminds you a lot of Leah Salonga-Hollywood version.                    

And I so loved her country hair, clothes, and even attitude. I also think she had the best wedding dress ever. Don’t you dare miss that one out ayt?

Everything about her seemed just to be so laid-back and natural.        

  

Very sophisticated Miranda from The Devil Wears Prada

 

is actually Donna (Merly Steep), the struggling and lonely mother of Sophie who happens to be rather very energetic for her age. She made so many jumping and running, and ya, singing in the movie.

She sang the Winner Takes It All at the last part, and DARN IT, it was so purfect. Did I mention her red scarf eh?

James Bond

 seemed to be the lost prince Sam Carmicael (Pierce Brosnan) who also infact sang very very well. David was creeped out though.               

 Haha. It was a good greek chuckle for the 3 of us. Really.

As for Manila, keep raining and replenish the earth dear.
